Dato's Dr Lim, Wee-Chai, aged 47, a Malaysian citizen,
is the Executive Chairman and founder of Top Glove
Group of Companies. The Group was established in
1991 and was listed in Bursa Malaysia (KLSE) on 27
March 2001.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with
Honours in Physics in 1982 from University Malaya
and a Master of Business Administration in 1985 from
Sul Ross State University in Texas, USA. He also
earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from
the Irish International University, London in 2001
and later was awarded with the Fellow Membership of
the Business Management Association, UK in September
2001.
Dato' Dr Lim brings a wealth of experience in the
marketing of consumers products whilst he was the
Sales Manager of a subsidiary company of OYL
Industries Bhd., a company listed on Bursa Malaysia
Securities Bhd. In 1991, he set up Top Glove Sdn Bhd,
his own glove manufacturing and trading business
with only one factory and has expanded this business
to eleven (11) glove factories as at August 2005. He
has more than 20 years of experience in the rubber
and latex manufacturing business.
He served as the President (1997 to 1999) of the
Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers' Association (MARGMA),
prior to this; he was also the Vice-President,
Treasurer, Honorary Secretary for the past seven (7)
years in this association. In 1998 and 1999, he was
the Director of the Association of Malaysia Medical
Industries (AMMI). In 1998 and 1999 he was the Board
member of the Malaysia Rubber Board.
In December 4th, 2004, Dato's Dr Lim, Wee-Chai was
named and awarded the highly prestigious accolade,
Master Entrepreneur of The Year 2004, by Ernst and
Young. This award was presented by Prime Minister of
Malaysia, Y.A.B. Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Hj. Ahmad
Badawi. With this award, Dato' Dr Lim represented
Malaysia in Monte Carlo, Monaco for the World
Entrepreneur of The Year on 28th May 2005.
At the Corporate level, under the leadership and
guidance of Dato's Dr Lim, on 26th February 2004,
Bursa Malaysia awarded Top Glove the KLSE Main Board
Corporate Merit Award 2003 in the Industrial Product
sector.
In month of May 2005, Top Glove was awarded Finance
Asia’s Annual Regional Best Managed Companies 2005
(in the Small Cap Company category with market
capitalization of up to USD 1 billion which is
applicable to about 960 listed companies out of the
approximately 1000 companies that are listed on
Bursa Malaysia). The results were based on the
regional investor poll, which consists of large
regional institutional investors and boutique fund
managers.
Recently, in August 2005, Top Glove was awarded the
2004 KPMG Shareholder Value Awards under the
Industrial Markets category, this award was given to
companies listed in Bursa Malaysia according to the
value they created for their shareholders for the
financial year ending 2004.
Dato's Dr Lim, Wee-Chai is married to Datin Tong Siew
Bee, a co-founder of the Top Glove and they have two
children. |

Mr Kua Hong Pak was
appointed Managing Director/Group Chief Executive
Officer of ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited in 2003. He
is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr Kua joined
the DelGro Group in 2002 as the Executive Director of
SBS Transit Ltd and then went on to assume the position
of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of DelGro
Corporation Limited in 2003. Prior to this, he was the
President/Chief Executive Officer of Times Publishing
Ltd. As President/Chief Executive Officer of Times
Publishing, Mr Kua spent over a period of 15 years
managing its overseas operations in the United States,
United Kingdom, the People’s Republic of China, Hong
Kong and Australia.
Mr Kua also serves on the boards of Temasek Holdings
(Private) Limited, Overseas Union Enterprise Limited,
PSA International Pte Ltd, PSA Corporation Limited,
StarHub Ltd and Ringier Print (HK) Limited. He is also
an Honorary Citizen of Shenyang City, People’s Republic
of China. In recognition of his contributions to
community service, he was awarded the Public Service
Medal in 1991 and Public Service Star in 1996 by the
President of the Republic of Singapore and appointed a
Justice of the Peace in 2000.
Mr Kua holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the
University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the United
Nations Asian Institute. He also attended the Advanced
Management Programme at Harvard Business School. |

Mr C K Chow is the
Chief Executive Officer of MTR Corporation.
Before he joined the Company, Mr Chow was Chief
Executive Officer of Brambles Industries PLC, a global
support services company with dual listings in the
United Kingdom and Australia. From 1997 to 2001, he was
Chief Executive of GKN PLC, a leading global
manufacturing company based in the UK. Before that, Mr
Chow spent 20 years with the BOC Group (formerly known
as British Oxygen) where he held various positions in
Hong Kong, Japan, U.S.A. and the United Kingdom. He was
Chief Executive of BOC’s Gases Division and Managing
Director of the BOC Group PLC from 1993 to 1996.
Mr Chow was born in Hong Kong and completed his
secondary school education in the territory. He is a
Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in
chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin
and a Master of Science degree in the same field from
the University of California. He holds an MBA degree
from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a
graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard
Business School. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of
Engineering degree by the University of Bath. Mr Chow is
a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow
of the City & Guilds of London Institute and a Fellow of
the Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is also an
Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of
Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of
Logistics & Transport in Hong Kong.
Mr Chow was knighted in the United Kingdom in 2000 for
contribution to industry. He was elected "International
Executive of the Year" by the Academy of International
Management in 2001.
In July 2004, Mr Chow was appointed as Chairman of
Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited. He has been
a non-executive Director of Standard Chartered PLC since
1997.
Mr Chow is Member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the
Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (HKICPA), the Council of the Chinese
University of Hong Kong and the General Committee of the
Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. |

Born on August 4,
1944. DR. ANDREW I. LIUSON studied at Grace Christian
High School and completed Bachelor of Science major in
Mechanical Engineering at the Esslingen School of
Engineering in West Germany in 1967; earned a degree of
Master in Business Administration in 1971 at the
University of the Philippines and Ph.D.Degree at the
University of Sto. Tomas in 1974.
He was a member of the Rotary Club of Manila for 21
years from 1981 to 2002 and a Paul Harris Fellow in
1987. He is also a life member of Management Association
of the Philippines since 1976.
He is currently the president of Cityland Development
Corporation, a real estate company that builds
condominiums with the 'In God We Trust' sign.
In 1979 he co-founded Cityland, which was awarded the
Leading Condominium Developer by her Excellency
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in 2003. To God be the
Glory.
Apart from being a successful businessman, he is
actively involved in many religious and educational
organizations.
Dr. Liuson is a member of the Board of Directors of
Campus Crusade for Christ, International based in
Orlando, Florida, USA. a $420 Million, non profit
company.
He is the Chairman of three educational institutions:
Grace Christian High School, Febias College of Bible and
International School of Theology-Asia.
He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Far East
Broadcasting Company (FEBC), Evangelism Explosion (Phils.),
Makati Gospel Church and member of a micro-finance
non-government organization-the Center for Community
Transformation (CCT).
He was awarded: Outstanding Alumni of UST Graduate
School in 1975; Outstanding Alumni of Grace Christian
High School in 1995; Distinguished Evangelical
Leadership Award by Philippine Christian of Evangelical
Churches during its 35th Anniversary on December 8,
2000. He was the 4th recipient of such award in PCEC’s
35 year history.
Over the years, Dr. Liuson has been invited as speaker
in various international and national conventions and
conferences and on special occasions and gatherings of
businesses, churches, fellowships, seminaries, schools
and Rotary clubs. |
