We accept two types of online banner ads on CNBCAsia.com.

Leaderboard Banner

  • Appears at the top of the page.
  • On rotation with up to five other banners at a given time.
  • Exclusive placement on a specific page is possible.

Button Banner

  • Appears on the right column of homepage.
  • Banners are randomly rotated in vertical position.
  • No limit to number of Button Banners.

Please ensure your ads conform to the following specifications. Elements not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date of campaign.

   Dimension    Leaderboard: 728(W) x 90(H)
   Button: 135(W) x 40(H)
   Format    GIF/JPG only. Flash, rich media or DHTML/CGI ads are currently not supported.
   File Size    Max 20KB
   Animation    Total 15 seconds limit. Allow frame delay of at least 250/100 seconds between looping.
   Sound    Animation should not include music or sound.
   Creative    Banner with white or light-colored background must have a 1-pixel border.
   ALT Text    Text that appears in lieu of ad graphic for non-graphical browsers or
   if a user has graphics turned off. Max 50 characters.
   Linking URL    All linked sites will launch in a new browser window. The site must be live before advertising starts.
   Third Party Tags    Tags must be provided, and embedded within linking URL. Tags must be live and tested
   at time of submission. No scripts shall be included from the CNBC end.
   Deadline    Seven (7) working days prior to start date.
